Essentially this means the i Phone or i Pad will be bricked and unusable until it can be restored or successfully updated with i Tunes and a computer.Update: Apple has apparently fixed the problem with the OTA update.Updating apps on your i Phone is usually as simple as tapping a few buttons. But in some rare situations, something goes wrong and your i Phone can't update apps. This is called validation, which simply means making sure your feed code is, well, valid.Checking validation is easy, any one of the following sites can help you check and make sure your feed is valid: Some validators get straight into the code and are not necessarily podcast specific (W3C and Feedvalidator), others are specific to podcasts. Take your RSS feed URL and plug it into a feed validation service, and see what comes back. If a feed is invalid, you will see something like the above. Your artwork must meet specific requirements, or , you will have problems in i Tunes (in fact, if you are a new show trying to submit, i Tunes will throw an error on submission if your artwork does not meet their requirements). If your device is still stuck on the i Tunes logo screen, proceed with the restore or update process with i Tunes as recommended.
But what can you do when your i Phone apps won’t update?
If you can't update apps, start by checking that you're using the right Apple ID.
When you download an app, it becomes associated with the Apple ID you used when you downloaded it.
You will see how much storage is used and how much is available.
If you’re curious about which apps are swallowing up your storage space, tap on Manage Storage.
